Ingredients
- 1 large green cabbage
- 1 cup rice, rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can lentils or chickpeas
- 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, ½ cup parsley

- Tomato slices for layering
Instructions
- 1Blanch cabbage leaves until pliable. Mix rice, lentils, onion, herbs, spices, half oil and lemon.
- 2Roll filling in leaves. Layer pot with tomatoes and rolls. Add remaining oil, lemon, and water to cover.
- 3Simmer covered on low 45-50 min. Rest before serving.
