Ingredients
  • 1 cup semolina (rava)
  • 1 onion, 1 carrot, ½ cup peas, 1 potato (chopped)
  • 2 green chilies, 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dal, 10 curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp oil or ghee, salt, fresh cilantro, lemon
Instructions
  1. 1Dry roast semolina until fragrant; set aside.
  2. 2Heat oil, temper mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, ginger, and chilies. Add onion and vegetables; sauté 5 min.
  3. 3Add 3 cups water and salt. Bring to boil. Stir in roasted semolina gradually.
  4. 4Cover and cook on low 5–7 min. Garnish with cilantro and lemon. Serve hot.
