Indian Style Tinda (Apple Gourd) Curry (Easy) — a healthy vegetarian halal recipe with 120 calories and 3g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 500g tinda (apple gourd), peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil, salt, fresh cilantro
Instructions
- 1Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Sauté onion and ginger-garlic paste.
- 2Add tomatoes and spices; cook until soft.
- 3Add tinda cubes and ¼ cup water. Cover and simmer 15–20 min until tender.
- 4Garnish with cilantro. Serve with roti.
