Indian Style Raw Mango Dal (Summer Tangy) — a healthy vegetarian halal recipe with 210 calories and 11g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 1 cup toor dal or moong dal
- 1 medium raw mango, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, 2 green chilies
- ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp cumin, curry leaves, 2 tbsp ghee
Instructions
- 1Cook dal with turmeric until soft. Add raw mango and simmer 8–10 min.
- 2Heat ghee, add mustard, cumin, curry leaves, onion, and chilies. Sauté until golden.
- 3Add chili powder and pour tadka into dal. Mix well.
- 4Serve with rice.
