Ingredients
  • 3-4 raw green bananas (plantains), peeled and cubed
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 onion chopped, 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp garam masala, chili powder
  • 2 tbsp oil, salt, cilantro
Instructions
  1. 1Soak banana cubes in water with turmeric to prevent browning.
  2. 2Heat oil, add cumin. Sauté onion, ginger-garlic, tomato and spices.
  3. 3Drain bananas, add to pan with little water. Cover and cook until soft (12-15 min).
  4. 4Gently mash some pieces. Garnish with cilantro.
