Ingredients
  • 500g pumpkin (kaddu), peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp amchur (dry mango), red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee, salt, cilantro, optional green chili
Instructions
  1. 1Heat oil; add cumin seeds. Add onion and sauté.

  3. 3Cover and cook on low-medium heat, stirring occasionally until pumpkin is soft and slightly mashed (15-20 min). Add splash of water if needed.
