Indian Style Paneer in White Gravy (Shahi) — a healthy vegetarian halal recipe with 340 calories and 15g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 250g paneer, cubed
- 1 large onion, boiled and blended
- ½ cup cashew paste (soaked cashews blended)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, ½ tsp white pepper, ½ tsp cardamom powder
- ½ cup cream or coconut cream, 2 tbsp ghee, salt
Instructions
- 1Lightly fry paneer and set aside.
- 2Heat ghee, sauté ginger-garlic. Add blended onion and cook until raw smell gone.
- 3Stir in cashew paste, white pepper, cardamom, and salt. Cook 4–5 min.
- 4Add cream and paneer. Simmer gently 5–7 min. Serve with naan or pulao.
