Ingredients
  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 1½ cups green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, blended
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala, ½ tsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp oil, salt, fresh cilantro
Instructions
  1. 1Lightly sauté paneer in 1 tsp oil until golden; set aside.
  2. 2Heat remaining oil, add cumin seeds. Sauté blended onion-tomato with ginger-garlic paste and all spices until thick and fragrant.
  3. 3Add green peas and ½ cup water. Simmer 8–10 min.
  4. 4Gently add paneer and simmer 5 min more. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with roti or rice.
