Indian Style Egg Curry - Dhaba Style — a healthy halal vegetarian recipe with 260 calories and 14g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 6-8 large eggs, boiled and peeled
- 2 onions, blended
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric, 1.5 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 2-3 tbsp oil or ghee, salt, cilantro
Instructions
- 1Heat oil. Add cumin seeds. Sauté blended onion until golden brown.
- 2Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Stir in tomato puree and all spices. Cook until oil separates (8-10 min).
- 3Add 1 cup water and simmer 5 min. Make small slits in boiled eggs and add to gravy. Simmer 5-7 min.
- 4Garnish with cilantro. Serve with paratha or rice.
