Indian Style Drumstick Moringa Sambar — a healthy vegetarian halal recipe with 190 calories and 10g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 1 cup toor dal, cooked
- 6–8 drumsticks (moringa pods), cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2–3 tbsp sambar powder, ½ tsp turmeric, tamarind paste (1 tbsp)
- 1 tsp mustard seeds, curry leaves, 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- 1Cook drumsticks with turmeric and salt until tender.
- 2Add cooked dal, sambar powder, tomatoes, and tamarind. Simmer 10–12 min.
- 3Temper: heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and pour over sambar.
- 4Serve with rice or idli.
