  • 1 cup mixed dal (moong + masoor) or toor dal, cooked
  • 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp garam masala, chili powder
  • 3 tbsp ghee or oil, garlic slices, dried red chilies, cilantro
Instructions
  1. 1Mash cooked dal slightly.
  2. 2Heat ghee, sauté onion, ginger-garlic, tomatoes, and spices until oil separates.

  4. 4Final tadka: heat extra ghee, fry garlic slices and red chilies. Pour over dal. Garnish with cilantro.
