Indian Style Aloo Curry (Simple Gravy) — a healthy vegetarian halal recipe with 190 calories and 4g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 4–5 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, blended
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp coriander, ½ tsp garam masala, chili powder
- 2 tbsp oil, salt, fresh cilantro
Instructions
- 1Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Sauté blended onion-tomato with ginger-garlic and spices until thick.
- 2Add potato cubes and 1½ cups water. Bring to boil.
- 3Cover and simmer 15–18 min until potatoes are tender and gravy thickens.
- 4Garnish with cilantro. Serve with puri, roti, or rice.
