Homemade Lavender Blueberry Lemonade — a healthy halal recipe with 50 calories and 1g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 2 tsp dried culinary lavender buds
- Juice of 3 lemons
- 4 cups water
- 2–3 tbsp monk fruit sweetener
- Ice and lemon slices
Instructions
- 1 Bring 2 cups water to boil, add lavender, steep 5 minutes off heat, then strain.
- 2 Blend blueberries with remaining water and lemon juice. Strain if desired.
- 3 Mix blueberry puree, lavender tea, and sweetener in a pitcher. Chill and serve over ice.
