Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground halal turkey (93% lean)
- 1 onion, diced; 3 carrots, sliced; 3 celery, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 6 cups halal chicken or turkey broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning, salt & pepper
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (green beans, peas)
Instructions
- 1Brown turkey in oil; drain excess fat if needed. Remove and set aside.
- 2Sauté onion, carrots, celery 6 min. Add garlic.
- 3Return turkey, add tomatoes, broth, seasoning, and veggies. Simmer 25-30 min.
