Easy Paneer Tikka Masala (Less Oil) — a healthy halal recipe with 380 calories and 20g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- 14-16 oz paneer, cubed (halal-certified)
- 1 cup plain yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin, chili powder to taste, salt
- 1 large onion, 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce or puree
- ½ cup heavy cream or coconut milk, 1 tbsp oil
- Fresh cilantro
Instructions
- 1Marinate paneer in yogurt + half spices for 30 min. Bake or air fry at 400°F for 12-15 min.
- 2Sauté onion, add remaining spices and tomato sauce. Simmer 10 min.
- 3Add cream/coconut milk and baked paneer. Simmer 5-8 min. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice or naan.
