Ingredients
- 2 (15 oz) cans fava beans, drained
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup olive oil, juice of 2 lemons
- 1 tsp cumin, salt & pepper, chili flakes
- Fresh parsley, tomato, onion for topping, warm pita
Instructions
- 1Warm fava beans in a pot with a splash of water. Mash roughly with a fork or potato masher.
- 2Stir in garlic, cumin, most of the olive oil, and lemon juice. Season well.
- 3Top with diced tomato, onion, parsley, chili flakes, and remaining olive oil.
- 4Serve warm with pita bread for scooping.
