Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Oats — a healthy halal recipe with 420 kcal and 28g protein per serving.
Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (whey or plant-based)
- 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¾ cup milk of choice
- 1 tsp honey or maple (optional)
- ½ banana, mashed
- Toppings: sliced banana, peanuts, dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- 1In a small pot, combine oats, protein powder, cocoa, milk, and mashed banana. Cook over medium heat 4-5 minutes, stirring.
- 2Stir in peanut butter and sweetener.
- 3Top with banana slices, extra peanut butter drizzle, and peanuts. (Overnight version: mix cold and refrigerate.)
