Ingredients
- 1 package phyllo dough (16 oz)
- 2½ cups mixed nuts (walnuts, pistachios, almonds), chopped
- ½ cup olive oil or melted butter
- ⅓ cup honey
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ cup orange juice + 2 tbsp honey (for syrup)
Instructions
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Layer 8 phyllo sheets in a greased 9x13 pan, brushing each with oil.
- 2 Spread nuts mixed with cinnamon. Top with remaining phyllo.
- 3 Cut into diamonds. Bake 40-45 minutes.
- 4 Pour warm honey-orange syrup over hot baklava. Cool completely.
