Ingredients
- 1 cup chana dal (soaked 30 min)
- 1 onion, 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp garam masala, chili powder
- 3 tbsp ghee or oil, dried red chilies, fresh cilantro
Instructions
- 1Pressure cook or boil dal until soft.
- 2Heat ghee, add cumin and dried chilies. Sauté onion, ginger-garlic, tomatoes, spices.
- 3Mix tadka into dal. Simmer 5 min. Garnish with cilantro.
- 4Serve with rice or roti.
