Ingredients
- 1 cup semolina (suji/rava)
- 1 onion, 1 carrot, ½ cup green peas, finely chopped
- 2–3 green chilies, 1 tsp ginger, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dal, 8–10 curry leaves
- 3 tbsp oil or ghee, salt
- 3 cups water, fresh cilantro, lemon wedges
Instructions
- 1Dry roast semolina on medium heat until aromatic (4–5 min); set aside.
- 2Heat oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, ginger, and chilies. Add onion and vegetables; sauté 4–5 min.
- 3Add water and salt; bring to boil. Slowly stir in roasted semolina.
- 4Cover and cook on low 5–7 min until fluffy. Garnish with cilantro and lemon. Serve hot.
